August 9, 2009 -- There's some very good reasons to think Reno in August of 2011, because today RCFI was awarded the right to hold the 2011 Worldcon, Renovation, in Reno, Nevada. Consequently, this web site, being the bid site, has served its purpose and been archived. It's available for historical perusal if you wish, but for the most current information about Renovation, you'll want to go to http://renovationsf.org/. There are links there for LiveJournal and Twitter as well as many pages of information about Reno and the surrounding area so you can begin planning your trip. And since all Worldcons run on the backs of many gracious volunteers, there is a form there to fill out if you want to help either before or during the convention.
